Zinsser Grade 1 is an interior restoration paint which is a selfpriming finish for interior walls and ceilings in historic and period buildings.

Grade 1 is specially formulated to allow surfaces in historical buildings to breathe unlike most standard emulsions which can trap moisture and cause cracking and flaking in the finish.

This Flat Matt White finish, performs as a primer, sealer and finish in 1 and is flexible, reducing the chances of cracking. It also contains biocides to protect the dried coating against fungal degradation.

Grade 1 by Zinsser is the perfect finish for castles, churches, period properties. It can be applied on substrates such as plaster, concrete, mortar, chalky materials, distemper, limewash and whitewash and surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, trims, windows and cabinetry.

It's other great qualities are that it is quick drying, scrubbable, low odour, and has unparalled stain blocking abilities.

Remove any mould with Zinsser Mould Killer & Remover before painting and for any stains with strong odours, use Zinsser B-I-N Primer to seal these long term.
