How to use Ronseal 6 year Anti Mould Paint

Prepare the surface

To maximise the longevity of the paint and to ensure you have the best possible surface for application, it is advised that you should clean the surface you’re planning to paint before you get started by giving the surface a quick clean with a mould killer to kill off any mould that may already be present.

Application

If you have cleaned the surface before hand, ensure it’s dry. If the surface is dry, grab your can of Anti Mould Paint, pop it open and give it a good stir. Using either a brush or a roller, begin to apply your paint evenly.

If you were aiming to do a single patch and it doesn’t work, you’ll have to paint the entire area to ensure it does match.

Once you have applied the first coat to your chosen area, leave it to dry for four hours and then it’ll be ready for its second coat.

Repeat the process and allow 24 hours drying time. Once that 24 hours has passed, you can rest assured knowing that the mould won’t be returning for another six years thanks to Ronseal 6 Year Anti Mould Paint.
