Welcome to Paint Direct ltd ("We", "Us" or "Paint Direct"). Please note that you, ("You" and "Your") as a purchaser of products made available through Paint Direct ("Products") and your use of products provided by Paint Direct is subject to the following terms and conditions ("Terms").
You must be 18 years of age to purchase Products from Paint Direct. Please read these Terms carefully prior to indicating your acceptance. When you have understood the Terms, please complete your acceptance and order the Products. Paint Direct reserves the right to substitute like for like quality products, or upgrade your selected product to a similar or equivalent standard or finish in the same style or colour should the advertised item not be available from stock. Any such amendment of product(s) will be made known to you, and agreed by and/or cancelled by you prior to despatch. We endeavour to correspond and act upon your instruction wherever practical. Product suppliers may occasionaly change their livery style to that advertised without affecting the quality of goods, we therefore reserve the right to supply existing stock livery.
Specific colours entered by customers online, using the "colour required" free-text box, that are from a recognised designer range of colours, will be supplied with the "closest visual colour" from the selected manufacturers' own listed range of colours and shades. This will be carried out by eye and is a subjective decision by Paint Direct.
We will freely give help and assistance on all the products that appear on our website where individual knowledge exists, however we are unable to comment on any brands that we do not stock or sell.
Whilst telephone orders are accepted, we require customers to confirm the details of the order in writing by email to [email protected] at the time of ordering. The email must clearly state the details of the order and the colour number, name and code. Failure to do this will invalidate any future claim of colour or product inaccuracy.
We will do our best to accomodate any order change requests, however we are not obliged to change any order. Any changes you wish to make to your order must be requested in writing by email to [email protected]. Please note that it may not be possible to change products which require mixing as they may have already been mixed at the time of your request.
Payment may be made by any of the means stated. Orders are accepted on the condition that products will be supplied at the price ruling on despatch. Paint Direct uses Secure Socket Layer encryption technology to scramble your sensitive data and provide maximum security over the internet. All prices listed on the website include VAT at the current rate. Higher value telephone orders can be paid for by BACS transfer before goods are released. Please note that we only accept credit/debit cards that are registered/issued in the UK. An administration charge of 5% is levied on all telephone orders.
A minimum charge of £4.99 dependent upon order value and post code. Orders are delivered Monday to Friday - please read our Delivery Information page for all other charges. Delivery to UK mainland usually takes 2 to 3 working days. We will endeavour to deliver your order on your chosen delivery day. In the event of delay or damage occuring during the transit of your goods, we have the right to rectify the problem and make delivery within 30 days. If any products are out of stock you will be notified at the earliest opportunity. Delivery will normally be by courier. All products must be paid for prior to delivery. Risk shall pass on delivery. If there is any short delivery or damage to goods in transit, this should be notified to Paint Direct by you with full particulars of delivery. All sample pots and testers are associated to a specific product. The tester pots are sized between 30ml and 350ml depending on brand selected.
If you are not completely satisfied with your Paint Direct product(s) you must notify us immediately in writing. Please see our returns policy. All orders will state if a product is returnable. Paint mixed to order is non-returnable. To ensure you have selected the correct colour, please order a tester before committing to a full order as mistakes are often difficult to rectify. Please read our returns policy for full details.
You may have additional rights under warranties supplied by the manufacturer of the products you order. Please contact us or the manufacturer if you require further information. If Paint Direct discovers that a price was mis-stated or that a product is out of stock, Paint Direct will either notify you by e-mail or telephone to give you the option of amending or voiding the sale.
Paint Direct makes available in good faith information about its products and with regard to the conditions necessary to ensure that products supplied will be safe and without risk to health when used properly. Any information and advice given should not of itself be considered an adequate risk assessment as may be required under Health and Safety legislation. If You are not already in possession of information concerning the safe use of the products or you become aware of any risk to health and safety, you should contact us, or seek guidance from the manufacturer.
All products are believed by Paint Direct to be of a quality suitable for the purpose and specification for which they are intended. All orders should be checked at the time of delivery and any shortages or inaccuracies notified to us and acknowledged by us by email within 24 hours of receipt. Failure to do this will invalidate any future claim. Any defect should be reported to Paint Direct immediately it is discovered and we will then investigate the defect with the paint manufacturer. All technical information in response to any enquiry is given by Paint Direct in good faith. It will ultimately be for you to establish the suitability of the product having regard to your own particular situation and site conditions. Paint Direct accept no liability for the products supplied, loss of profits, consequential, financial and any other losses. Paint Direct accept no claim for labour costs whereby a product is either faulty, not checked prior to use, used or applied incorrectly.
Your purchase of products from Paint Direct will be a contract made in England and under English Law. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damage and accordingly some limitations here stated may not apply to you. Your rights are unaffected. Paint Direct can revise these Terms without notice by posting new Terms on the Paint Direct site or by notifying you by e-mail. Further purchase of products after such posting or notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Content - Paint Direct Ltd provides this site on an "as viewed basis" and therefore makes no guarantees or warranties to this site or its contents. For the closest colour match we recommend you order a sample pot. Product images may not directly represent the item stocked or despatched when ordered as suppliers and availablilty can change without notice. We will endeavour to notify you if a product has to be substituted and is of a different quality.
