Sadolin Classic All Purpose Woodstain

Sadolin Classic All-Purpose Woodstain is a wood stain that has been designed to enhance and protect exterior wood surfaces such as garden furniture, fences, doors, and window frames. It is ideal for use on softwood and hardwood surfaces, including pressure-treated timber.

It should not be used for: interior wood surfaces or surfaces that are in contact with food and drink. In addition to this, it shouldn’t be used on surfaces that have previously been treated with a coating that is not compatible with the wood stain, or on surfaces that have been painted or varnished.

Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain

Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain is another great product in the Sadolin family. This wood stain is designed to provide long-lasting protection for exterior wood surfaces such as garden furniture, decking, doors, and window frames.

In addition to this, and contrastingly to Classic All Purpose Woodstain, it is suitable for use on interior wood surfaces such as kitchen worktops. 

It should not be used for: Surfaces that have previously been treated with a coating that is not compatible with the wood stain, or on surfaces that have been painted or varnished without proper preparation.

Sadolin Superdec Opaque Wood Protection

Sadolin Superdec is a water-based wood stain that is designed to provide excellent protection against the elements for exterior joinery and cladding.

In addition to being incredibly easy to apply, Sadolin Superdec dries quickly, making it ideal for use on larger exterior surfaces such as cladding, but it’s also suitable for doors and window . It provides a flexible barrier that moves with the wood, preventing cracking and peeling. 

It should not be used for: Interior woodwork such as doors, skirting boards, and furniture, as well as bare wood, previously treated surfaces that are not sound or clean, metal surfaces, and floors that are not designed to withstand foot traffic.

Sadolin Beautiflex Solvent Opaque Woodstain

Sadolin Beautiflex is a water-based wood stain that is designed to provide excellent protection against the elements. Whilst working hard to enhance the natural grain and texture of wood, it’s specifically formulated for use on decking and other horizontal surfaces, providing a tough, durable finish that is resistant to foot traffic and weathering. In addition, Sadolin Beautiflex Solvent Opaque Woodstain can protect against moisture that can cause unsightly and damaging swelling, warping, and rotting.

It should not be used for: non-wood surfaces like metal, plastic, or concrete, and should not be used on food-contact surfaces such as cutting boards, kitchen countertops, or dining tables. Additionally, it should not be used on certain types of wood, such as exotic hardwoods, where the stain may not adhere properly.

It should not be used for: Surfaces that have been previously treated with oil-based coatings, nor should it be used on surfaces that are in direct contact with food or water, such as cutting boards or countertops.
