Zoffany True Matt joins the Zoffany Paint Portfolio

The chalky paint finish has become increasingly popular and has been adopted by many brands. It is often used to create an antique style in homes and is great for transforming furniture, adding to the vintage ‘distressed’ look that so many people want. 

Brands such as Earthborn, Craig & Rose and Farrow & Ball, etc, are known for their chalky paints, and Zoffany has joined the game with their own version of a chalky paint.

As one of seven British luxury interior brands within the Sanderson Design Group, Zoffany are renowned for their high-quality paint that they have been producing since 1983. Their ‘True Matt’ is “fabulously flat” and follows the rest of their range in being environmentally friendly. This new addition has great qualities such as being fast dying, water based and having reduced brush strokes but what I really like about Zoffany’s True Matt is that it is wipeable. 

Often is the case that you must compromise the durability of the paint in order to achieve that Flat finish. With a lot of brands the choice is; a wipeable paint but it has a sheen, or a matt finish but you can’t clean it. This doesn’t help when you want the chic look in kitchens or any room with high traffic.

Usually, when trying to wipe down a chalky wall, the paint wipes off however, True Matt has excellent scrub resistance, giving a great advantage over competitors.

Zoffany’s Elite Emulsion has the ultimate durability, being washable and stain resistant and while this is ideal if a low sheen finish is what you’re looking for, the True Matt finish gives you the opportunity to have a flat finish anywhere.
