Berger Undercoat is a high opacity undercoat that works great as a pre coat before applying Satin or Non Drip Gloss on previously painted or primed surfaces.

Undercoat is oil based and provides a wonderfully smooth surface on wood and metal such as raillings, radiators, bannisters, window sills, skirtig boards, trim etc. 

When using on wooden surfaces, prime the wood first with Wood Primer to ensure optimum finish.

If you are painting with a waterbased topcoat, we advise using a water based undercoat such as Berger Quick Dry Primer Undercoat!

Berger Undercoat is available in Brilliant White and Lead Grey.

Tip: If you are covering a strong colour, we advise using Lead Grey Undercoat.
