Liberon Anti-Slip Coating

Preparation:

• The surface to be coated must be clean, dry and free from traces of dirt, dust, grease, wax or oil.
• Remove any flaking paint with a scraper or using a suitable paint stripper / product remover
• Fill any gaps or splits in wood surfaces with Liberon Wood Filler
• Wooden surfaces can be cleaned, if required, with Liberon Tough Deck Clean and Revive or Liberon Garden Furniture Cleaner prior to coating

Please Note: For new hardwoods, it is recommended to leave the wood exposed for up to 12 months before applying any finish. This allows the grain in the wood to open and breath and aids penetration and adhesion of the finish.
 
Application:

• Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish.
• Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.
• Ideal conditions for application are between 10°C and 25°C when dry.
• Stir thoroughly before and during application to ensure a consistent finish.
• Apply Liberon Anti-Slip Coating with a good quality natural bristle brush or microfibre roller
• Two undiluted coats are normally sufficient, however on very porous surfaces a third coat may be necessary
• Allow to dry for 3 hours between coats and 12 hours before use

Clean using water.

Aftercare:

-Maintenance:

• Liberon recommend applying a fresh coat of Liberon Anti-Slip Coating once yearly as part of a routine maintenance schedule.
• On high traffic areas, re-apply 1 coat as and when required, following the 'preparation' and 'application' instructions above.

Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
