Crown Trade Aluminium Wood Primer is a solvent based, high quality primer for interior and exterior resinous softwoods, hardwoods and timber that have been treated with preservatives.

Aluminium Primer is self knotting so you dont need to use an extra product to seal these! It has excellent adhesion to the surface and is able to seal stains and tannins in the timber.

After priming, we recommend using Crown Trade Next Generation Plus Undercoat before moving onto your top coat.

As an alternative, use Crown Trade Wood Primer for sound wood if you don't need the extra sealing properties.

Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or in damp conditions.

Cleaning

Immediately after use, clean equipment with White Spirit or Turpentine Substitute.

Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
